After writing this many songs on the same topic, it feels strange to explain what F This Movie Fest is, and why you should be as excited as I am that it's here again. While the blue-bird social media platform that plays unwitting host to the event has fallen out of favor (this may be the first year I didn't bother using the "T"-word in the lyrics), the service continues to limp along solely because the fates favor the one glorious day each year that film fans from around the world gather to watch and discuss movies together.

This year's festival lineup is from 1983, a fine year I don't remember because I was only 5 years old. The selection of films is varied, a little weird, and completely awesome (do '80s kids still say "awesome"?): WARGAMES, SUPERMAN III, MR. MOM, KRULL, VALLEY GIRL, and RETURN OF THE JEDI.
